finally...

Here I am!
I'm still so happy with this book!
I want to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone who participated!
So today I'm showing a bit of the work of Joei and Dawn who've been the first to add their stories and art:
Joei created some flowery light pages and told me some of the things which make her life...
"life is an accumulation of doing" she says. Yes...well..but life is also receiving and feeling.....

And now...Dawn! She told me thet she would like to learn cooking, when she grows up...hehee...that's a term, I also often use...the things I will do when I'm grown up....

and Dawn...you're even two years older now, isn't it :))

So beautiful rhythmic pages you have created...please don't grow up...except...perhaps...for becoming like Jamie Oliver.

Dear girls...my book is back! It has been so wonderful to read through your pages! It really gave me the feeling that all of you came over for a visit. Finally, after about two years I've got the feeling that there's a connection between all of us. I could dance!
I didn't have the time yet to take a shot of all the pages you have done, but I promise I will do that very soon!
I had the happiest time (with your DELICIOUS sweets, Marianne), I'm overwhelmed!
I'll be back soon with the photos but since this week is very busy it will surely need about two weeks.

And please...don't let those who still wait wait much longer!

Marianne's Journal

The final pages of Marianne's journal have been completed and her book is, as I type, on it's way back to her (as long as the postal strikes don't hold it up it should arrive this week!)

Thanks everyone for the fun over the past 2 years or so and to all those who have sent me pages - they are beautiful! I will still be lurking or posting on your blogs!

Caty's Journal is Going Home

I am FINALLY sending out Caty's journal to her...Just got it done...I don't want to show much cause I don't want to spoil it...






Even though I've been slow to work on books here, I've truly enjoyed doing so. You're all so patient! Can't wait to get the next one...I've also got to do Di's pages, which I plan on working on this week!

Diane come's back to life!

Hello! Long time that I have been absent - sorry! Yes, I accidently sent Joei's journal back to her instead of to Ursula....sorry!! I have posted Ursula's journal to Marianne on Tuesday so it should be there by the end of the week (so much easier now she is in the UK too) and I have promised Marianne's journal will be sent by the end of the month.

Thank you Ursula, Marianne and Olga for your pages for me!! It is much appreciated.

Contrary to popular belief (mine) I have enjoyed taking part in this project and exploring new methods of creativity and meeting new people and reading new blogs!

I received Caty's journal a few days ago...just realized I should post and let everyone know...Caty, I'll work in it as fast as I can! It's gorgeous! :)

At last Ceri's journal is on it's way again. Di's pages have arrived safely in Scotland so I am feeling a little better about my progress.
Any news on my journal? Just wondering where in the world it is at this moment....

Today....

...I finally sent out Di's pages...I'm sorry that it took this long, Diane...

I don't know exactly how to start this, girls...
I fear that we already have lost most of our fragile connection.
I underestimated that fact when we started...the fact that it would be hard to hold contact...a contact that consists of interest, curiousness, the try to be creative together.
We don't live our lifes together...
But I would so much like to finish this project together.
TOGETHER....I mean:
please, don't drop out, when your book is back....show us your pages.
Please, pass on the books in an adequate time and if there is a lack of creativity at the moment:
pass them on without doing the pages...you can do this later..

Note to myself: it's the same for me.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps this isn't one of the bestest projects ever, but:
we will feel much better, believing in ourself, if we finish this happily, I'm sure.
Please, give me a sign...what do you think!
